Various Scripture
Another important aspect in our lives that lead us to being fully devoted followers of Christ is connecting with other believers. We connect or build relationships with one another for the purpose of growing spiritually and encouraging each other. The next two week together we study that concept from Scripture. We learn that it is more than just hanging our but is a relationship between individuals which involves active participation in a common interest and thereby in each other. It is a partnership of working together in ministry and the connections formed with each other as you do ministry together.

Psalm 34:1-7
We continue to look at the worship component to being a fully devoted follower of Christ. From this passage in Psalms we learn the practical side of worship and how that is actually done in the life of a Christ follower. This psalm teaches us what worship is, worship is a decision, worship is a team activity, and why we worship God.
Worship: To express our love and devotion to God

Isaiah 58:1-11
As we continue looking at our church vision/mission we see in this passage a fully devoted follower of Christ worships to show love and devotion to God. However, God is clear in how He wants to be worshiped. From these verses in Isaiah we see we can approach God with a heart attitude that causes God to either reject or ignite our worship.
Fully Devoted Follower of Christ
Pastor Tim | April 11
Thessalonians 3-13
In this opening message on being a fully devoted follower of Christ, we learn from Paul that a fully devoted follower of Christ makes disciples. A disciple maker is one who is willing to sacrifice for, be compassionate toward, desires to teach, and make intercessory prayer for the one he is discipling.
The challenge for us is are we truly doing this and being a fully devoted follower of Christ?
