Jeff Smith
Jeff Smith has been a member since 2022. He graduated in 1993 with a Bachelor of Science degree from Liberty University, and later went on to serve for 25 years in federal law enforcement. He served as one of the elders at River Rock Church Caroline in Ruther Glen, VA from 2017-2021. He has a passion for seeing believers grow in their faith through discipleship, LIFE Groups, and other church ministries. He enjoys meeting new people, getting together with other men and hunting.
Pam Smith served as an English teacher and school administrator for a private school in Stafford, Va. She and Jeff have been married for 26 years and have two married girls, Kylie (Jim Reel) and Katrina (Josh Cook). Pam enjoys spending time with family and friends, reading novels, writing, and having adventures with Jeff.

Youth Pastor
Matt Gilliland
Matt Gilliland has been a member since 2018. He and his wife Peyton have two animals at home. A loving dog “Sonny” and a cat “Poppy.” Matt is passionate about caring for youth students and young adults. He recognizes they are the next generation and wants to invest in their lives purposefully. His care and devotion to his students is seen throughout the life groups, weekly gatherings, and retreats he leads. Matt holds a bachelor’s degree in Christian Ministries from North Greenville University and is currently pursuing classes at Southeastern Seminary. He is active, loves to adventure/explore, and has so many hobbies they’re hard to count.

Worship Leader
Peyton Gilliland
Peyton Gilliland has been a member since 2018. She is passionate about music, teaching, and helping students find their identity in Christ. She is a James Madison University graduate that currently serves as the Executive Director of, Kids Harbor, a Christian Preschool in Harrisonburg. She and her husband Matt (see excerpt above) have been married since 2019 and have enjoyed exploring the Shenandoah Valley. Peyton is deeply invested in the power of worship music and strives to lead the congregation purposefully alongside her team. She loves to read, shop local, drink good coffee, and spend time with loved ones. Please get to know her!
