Our desire is not to be a church that prays, but rather, to be a praying church. That means that we do not view prayer as just another ministry, activity or addition or closing to an event, but rather we view prayer as a priority that permeates everything we do. Prayer is not only essential in our ministry as a church, but even more so in our own individual lives. We desire to be devoted to prayer. In I Thessalonians 5:17, Paul encourages believers to pray without ceasing. Let’s be a church the focuses on praying regularly and with persistence.
